The SaunaLife TITAN SL1 Propane Sauna Heater Package brings traditional sauna heat and water-over-stone steam to sauna spaces where electric heater wiring is difficult. This package includes a compact stainless steel propane sauna heater and two boxes of rounded 3–5 cm olivine diabase sauna stones for assembly and loading.
The open stone basket, radiant heat chamber and simple High/Low controls bring traditional water over stone steam to a properly prepared sauna. No electrical connection or chimney is needed, making the TITAN a practical option where electric heater wiring would be difficult.
Suitable for properly constructed, correctly ventilated sauna rooms from 140–350 cubic feet when uninsulated, or 140–425 cubic feet when insulated. A propane cylinder, non combustible base and compliant ventilation must be arranged separately. The heater must never operate unattended.
Features
Propane Powered Sauna Heat
Runs on propane (LP) with the supplied low pressure regulator and 6-foot hose. No electrical supply is required.
Compact Stainless Steel Construction
The stainless steel heater weighs approximately 33 lb before stones, with a removable stone basket and radiant heat chamber for setup and transport after cooling.
Traditional Stone & Steam Experience
The 44 lb stone capacity is designed for sauna steam created by slowly ladling clean water over the hot stones.
Simple On Heater Controls
Select High or Low heat and set the integrated timer for a session of up to 60 minutes. A push button igniter lights the pilot.
Supplemental Safety Devices
An oxygen depletion sensor and internal tip switch shut off the gas under specified conditions. These devices do not replace continuous ventilation, correct placement or supervision.
Matched Rounded Sauna Stones
Two nominal 33 lb boxes provide approximately 66 lb of 3–5 cm rounded olivine diabase stones for selecting the required 44 lb load.
Included
SaunaLife TITAN SL1 Gas Sauna Heater
Heater base and burner, radiant heat chamber, stone basket, propane regulator with 6-foot hose, one heater guard, gloves, and installation and operation manual.
SaunaLife Rounded Olivine Diabase Stones
Two nominal 33 lb boxes of rounded 1–2 inch (3–5 cm) stones, approximately 66 lb supplied for the heater’s 44 lb stone capacity.
Required Site Preparation & Separate Items
Propane cylinder and fuel, a stable non combustible base or appropriate floor protection, and compliant intake and exhaust ventilation are not included. Cabin installations must provide safe hose routing and an accessible manual gas shutoff outside the sauna room. Vent covers and the optional heat shield are sold separately.

Installation & Warranty
Read the Complete Gas Heater Manual
Installation must be performed by someone familiar with fuel burning appliances and gas safety. Local requirements may call for a licensed professional. Confirm applicable requirements and sauna compatibility before installation; the package does not establish approval for a particular cabin.
Continuous Natural Ventilation
Provide at least 54 square inches of unobstructed intake free area and 39 square inches of exhaust free area. The upper outlet must be on the opposite wall near the ceiling and discharge directly outdoors, never into another room or enclosed area. Allow for airflow lost to grilles, screens and louvers. Keep all vents fully open during operation; mechanical ventilation is not recommended by the manual.
Non Combustible Base & Clearances
Place the heater on a stable, level, non combustible surface, never directly on a wood floor, wood grate or grass. Cabin clearances measured from the stone basket are 6 inches at the sides and rear, 16 inches in front and 50 inches above. The separately sold heat shield can reduce cabin side and rear clearances to 4 inches while maintaining at least 1 inch between the shield and combustible surfaces; front and ceiling distances remain unchanged.
Propane Supply & Leak Testing
Keep the propane cylinder and regulator upright, secured and outside the sauna in a well ventilated location. Use the supplied manufacturer approved regulator and hose; protect hose routing and maintain at least 12 inches from the heater. Provide access to the manual gas shutoff and perform the manual’s leak test after every fuel connection and before operation.
Supervised Sauna Use
Never leave the heater operating unattended or sleep in the sauna while it is running. The oxygen depletion sensor is supplemental protection and does not replace ventilation. Shut off the heater and gas supply after use. Allow at least 30 minutes of cooling before handling, and follow all glove and hot surface precautions.
Tent & Cabin Compatibility
For tent use, the supplier identifies only SaunaLife SaunaTrekker and SaunaTrekker XL tents as compatible. Other tents, altered tents and cabins unable to meet the full manual requirements must not be used. No specific prefabricated cabin pairing is included or implied.
Manufacturer Warranty
The linked SaunaLife limited warranty governs coverage, eligibility and exclusions. Review the full terms for residential use conditions, exclusions and the claims process.
