Thermo-Spruce character
The surround uses 1.65-inch-thick Thermo-Spruce staves, with the distinctive grain and golden tone of heat-treated Nordic wood. Heavy-duty AISI 430 stainless-steel barrel bands support the structure.

An interior measuring 49.6 inches in diameter and 83 inches high gives this compact outdoor shower a generous standing area.
Considered shower details
Chrome rain and handheld fixtures support hot-and-cold showering. Beneath the removable brown mat, pitched channels guide wastewater toward the drain. Two exterior robe hooks and a matching Thermo-Spruce plumbing enclosure complete the design.

The R3 Barrel Shower ships for a flat rate of $950 to the contiguous United States. Please note that certain remote or complex delivery locations may not qualify for this rate and could require additional arrangements or charges.
Delivery Details
Your Shower is delivered by appointment via freight carrier and arrives on a wooden pallet. Delivery includes curbside service, with the carrier lowering the shipment to ground level.
Prior to shipment, we may contact you to confirm delivery details and discuss any access restrictions or other circumstances that could affect delivery or result in additional charges.
Please note: Curbside delivery does not include moving the product to its final location, unpacking, assembly, or installation.
Installation & Warranty
Assembly and plumbing
Read the installation manual before starting. The manual shows the drain arrangement, foundation anchors, barrel assembly, and plumbing enclosure. Complete all pipework, the tap mixer, and wastewater installation before fitting the final plumbing-cover components. Review the dimensions when planning your site.
Water supply and drainage
Have a qualified plumbing professional establish the hot-and-cold supply, local-code-compliant wastewater route, and appropriate shutoffs for your location. The included drain kit and pitched floor channels do not replace the site's wastewater connection.
Cold-weather planning
The reviewed Model R3 manual does not specify a frost rating, winterization procedure, fixture drainage method, or seasonal-storage requirements. Confirm those requirements for the shower fixtures and site plumbing before installation or freezing weather. Do not assume that outdoor construction makes water-filled plumbing freeze-safe.
Limited residential warranty
SaunaLife’s September 2026 limited warranty lists showers for five years from delivery to the original retail purchaser through an authorized reseller. Coverage concerns qualifying workmanship defects under normal residential use, subject to the full terms. Normal wear, natural wood weathering, user damage, labor, installation, and related removal or replacement expenses are excluded. Commercial use and other stated exclusions can invalidate coverage.
